About Pulchra

The public can vote from January 30th 2008 through December 31st 2008
At the closing of the voting, the hundred objects chosen for the contest will be ranked on a scale of one to one hundred, according to the number of votes received by each of the items.
The top ten items on these rankings will be the winners of the contest.
The winner of the voting competition will be the person whose votes matched most closely the rankings of the most-voted-for objects.
The winner of the voting competition will be awarded a prize of 10,000 euros in gold coins.
For information on voting procedures, go to "How to vote".
Once voting is completed, the ten winning objects will be sent on a "journey in time". They will be stored in a waterproof metal capsule and buried in the grounds of a park underneath a designer garden.
Year by year, as Pulchra contests are repeated, a mosaic of gardens will signal the presence of this invisible museum of "beauty in our time", representing a small and glittering buried treasure destined to future archaeologists.
